Our 'Goldens' have been our hobby for thirty years, and our aim throughout this time has been consistent,

...to breed a dog that is sound, intelligent, of kind and biddable temperament,

...a dog that is quick to learn, a darker coloured, leaner, type with substance, stamina and speed,

...a dog which is pleasing to the eye,

...and a game finder who has a good nose and uses natural instinct to locate game and doesn't rely solely on the handler to direct them to the fall.     

When time allows we get tremendous pleasure from competing in Working Tests and Field trials and in recent years we feel our dogs have acquitted themselves well in both,  gaining 1st , 2nd and 3rd prizes in Puppy, Novice and Open Working Tests. We have also won Novice and All Aged Stakes and 1st 2nd 3rd and COMs in Open Trials.

But more than anything else, the day to day training and the enjoyment of winter days shared in the shooting field is mainly what it is all about for us.
